How We Do It
A Glimpse into Our Operations
Since Fox Valley Wood Products started, we have produced over 8 million gunstocks. Our operation runs from raw walnut log to finished kiln-dried blank entirely on-site in Fleming County — giving us full control over quality at every step.
Log Selection
We start with premium walnut logs sourced locally and from our own buying operation. Only the best logs make the cut for gunstock production.
Milling & Cutting
Logs are milled on-site into rough blanks. Our experienced team cuts each blank to maximize figure and minimize waste.
Kiln Drying
Every blank is kiln dried on-site to the correct moisture content — critical for dimensional stability in a finished gun stock.
Grading & Shipping
Blanks are graded by grain pattern and figure, then packed for domestic or export shipment. Contact us for current availability and pricing.
